• Our Theatre Group receive Arts Awards

  Our Theatre group have been working hard on their Arts Awards this term and recently spent a Saturday rehearsing and performing for assessors of their group productions.  All the children gained merits or distinctions, reflecting the focused effort they put into polishing their scenes!

  Our netball team are through to the final of the Stockport Netball tournament in the summer - Well done team!

  

• Singing Squad make us proud!

  Singing Squad made us proud on Tuesday 26th March, when they performed in front of a packed Town Hall audience including the Mayor of Stockport. They sang their own repertoire, conducted by Miss Ridgway alongside three other school choirs as part of the Primary School celebration of 'Past and Present'.

  The finale was a specially commissioned song for the Greater Manchester Music Hub called ‘Victorians’ which all four schools performed together.

  Wow! This cake is beautiful and the sentiments in your card are lovely. It has been a pleasure to watch your progress over the years as a winning combination - Year 6. The Year 6 team will be greatly missed and, like all of you, I hope that our Year 3/4 teams will continue to improve.  They are already doing extremely well!

   

  If any parents of children in  Years 2 through to Year 6 have a budding runner in the family who would like to join our successful school teams, we would be very happy to welcome you at the start of the 2019/20 Cross Country season during the Autumn term.  Come and speak to us.
