  • Single subject OFSTED Inspection of Modern Foreign Languages

    Fri 28 Feb 2020 D Presswood

On Wednesday 26th February, Ladybrook had a single subject inspection of Modern Foreign Languages. The HMI who led the inspection talked in detail with the Headteacher, the subject leader, observed lessons, looked at children’s books and talked with children about their learning. At the end of the day governors and senior leaders received verbal feedback which will be returned to us in the form of a letter in a few weeks. There will be no overall judgements but there will be a narrative of the inspector’s observations.  Once this is available, we will send it out to our parents and it will also be placed on OFSTED’s website as a public document. At this stage I would like to thank our superb staff and enthusiastic young linguists for their significant role in the day.
