  • Year 6 Cross Country Team - Thankyou!

    Mon 18 Mar 2019 Mrs D Presswood

Wow! This cake is beautiful and the sentiments in your card are lovely. It has been a pleasure to watch your progress over the years as a winning combination - Year 6. The Year 6 team will be greatly missed and, like all of you, I hope that our Year 3/4 teams will continue to improve.  They are already doing extremely well!

If any parents of children in  Years 2 through to Year 6 have a budding runner in the family who would like to join our successful school teams, we would be very happy to welcome you at the start of the 2019/20 Cross Country season during the Autumn term.  Come and speak to us.

  • Inspiring the Future

    Tue 08 Jan 2019 D Ptresswood
We would appreciate parents contacting us with a view to sharing their own story as learners with our older junior children.  We want to inspire them to think broadly about their own futures, to grow their minds and encourage them to have high aspirations.  We already have parents coming forward to take part in the initiative. Please contact us at the school office, if you wish to be involved in this ongoing project.

Thank you to all the families who came to our Christmas fair on Friday evening. It was a lovely festive event in which the Singing Squad sang, lovely food, prepared by our own community, was served and some amazing stalls and activities were available to enjoy.  Santa was resident in our own playground grotto and the Secret Room did some excellent business. Thanks especially to our amazing PTA and parent body fro organising the event to well!

  • Our School Cook Retires

Fri 25 May 2018 Mrs Presswood
It has been a privilege to have Janice and Dave as part of our lunch time team for so long. Janice has worked at Ladybrook for 27 years!  The children gave Janice and Dave a fantastic ‘sending-off’ - they came in from playing in their dozens to say goodbye and wish them both well. Suzanne (our newly promoted school cook), who is also a talented cake-maker, produced a beautiful cake to celebrate the occasion.
