At Ladybrook, we have previously written Support Plans and sent them home to parents with an invite to discuss if necessary. If a child was accessing LSS or has an EHC Plan, we have met with parents to discuss the Support Plan. We wanted to develop this further, so:
-all teaching staff have had training in the co-production charter: what it is and why it was needed.
-teaching staff have had training in the 'I....' statements.
-teaching staff have had training on the Entitlement framework and agreed the content of Ladybrook's own Entitlement Framework
As a staff, we agreed to move towards full co-production in the following stages:
1. Summer 2021 - Support Plans discussed with all parents via teams or a telephone call (due to CoVid restrictions) - not only those accessing LSS or EHC Plan
2. September 2021 - Support Plans discussed with parents face to face and a home target will be co-produced.
3. January 2022 - Support plans fully co-produced with parents in a face to face meeting.
4. June 2022 - Parent Voice - Parents completed an online survey about the co-production process. The results are below.
5. September 22 onward co-production of support plans and reviews to continue
