Learning Tasks Week beginning 22nd June 2020 |
Monday 22nd June 2020 Time to think: Share a happy memory with someone special today. Literacy Now that you have planned your story, you are going to spend this week writing it up neatly. I would like to see your story so please write it on paper and upload it onto Google Classroom or type it straight onto the document I have put in Google Classroom. Today we will focus on writing the first part of the story. Like last week, we will do a small part every day and build it up. In today’s writing, Plop is going to be talking to his mum on the branch. What might she say to him? Plop is then going to leave the branch. How might he travel? Here are some examples from the book to help you. Plop floated down and landed like a soft white feather. Plop flew down, landing with a gentle bump. Plop flew down, landing with an enormous thud. Maths You have the option of bronze, silver and gold tasks everyday this week. I have attached links to different videos and activities for each one. Remember, you only have to select one to do, not all three. We are going to think about division this week and how this links to multiplication. If you would like further challenges, I have attached a few activities below for some of the days. Please note these are optional. They are below each day and labelled which group they would be suitable for. Bronze Watch the video click here and complete activity 1 on the BBC Bitesize page under the video.
